Reasons to love summer in Newcastle

Forget about going abroad, why not spend summer in Newcastle? It has everything you need, from a beach to spending the day at the movies! And not forgetting a nightlife like no other! So, who needs to spend money on a holiday when you have everything right here in the North East. Lets go to the beach In the summer, Newcastle magically gains another beach (well technically!). Newcastle brings out the Spanish side of the Toon, by creating a man-made beach directly on the Quayside. It’s beautifully golden sands attract everyone to the Quayside, with activities to do for all ages! There are 100 deckchairs for the relaxers, volleyball for the athletes, and buckets and spades for the children. There is something to do for everyone! A great, free day out, directly in the heart of Newcastle! If you are looking for a more life-size beach, then don’t worry, the coast has many to offer. Our personal favourite is Tynemouth.
